September was a launch month. The new website went live on 17 September, the new landing pages on 23 September and the emergency ads started showing on 20 September. Most numbers below cover the last two weeks of the month, and August only had the old single page, so treat this as the starting line.

- Kimberley, Clarkson (21 Sep): fans and power points, came in through the website contact form.
- Andrew (26 Sep): Tesla charger install. He searched Google, found your new site and filled in the form. That's your first enquiry from SEO.
- Calls straight to your phone aren't counted here because we can't see them. If either of these turned into a job, or other calls came in, let me know so we can count them properly.

- "electrician churchlands" (200 searches a month) is the suburb page moving fastest, averaging position 10 in Google's own figures across the 17 times it was shown.
- Your suburb pages are already showing in Google: Daglish (17), Merriwa (20), Burns Beach (28) and Leederville (36), mostly on pages two to four.
- These are early numbers. Each term was only shown 10 to 18 times in the two weeks the site was live, so positions will move around until Google has more to go on.
The searches that matter most
Google's own average across everyone who saw your site, including the Google map and people searching close to your business. It shows which way each search is moving, and can differ from what you see when you search yourself.
| Search term | Searches / month | Times shown in Sep | Google's average position | vs August |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| electrician churchlands | 200 | 17 | 10.2 | New |
| air conditioning churchlands | – | 10 | 10.9 | New |
| electrician daglish | – | 13 | 17.2 | New |
| electrician merriwa | 200 | 15 | 20.1 | New |
| electrician burns beach | 200 | 18 | 27.7 | New |
| electrician leederville | – | 11 | 35.6 | New |
| private power pole replacement perth | 90 | 13 | 37.2 | New |
| switchboard upgrade perth | 200 | 11 | 84.4 | New |
- The two biggest searches, "emergency electrician perth" (600 a month) and "electrician joondalup" (350 a month), aren't ranking yet. They're the hardest to win, which is why the ads are covering emergency work while the site builds up.

- The ads started showing on 20 September, so this is 11 days and 10 clicks. That's too few clicks to judge yet: at your current cost per click, $20 a day buys one to two clicks a day.
- "electrician near me" brought the most clicks (3 clicks, $29.49). Google hides the search terms behind half the clicks when volumes are this small.
- On 27 September we raised the most we'll pay per click on the Emergency Electrician ads from $10 to $25, because at $10 the ads were being shown but almost never clicked. Clicks picked up straight after: 7 of the 10 came from 27 to 30 September.
- We also blocked searches like "tv mounting" and competitor names so your budget only goes on the jobs you want.
